One of the most interesting pieces in Clark equipment history was an aluminum body trolley that was a fixture on the streets of Brooklyn and Queens in the mid-1930s. They have produced cranes, forklifts, backhoes, loaders, and more. Over the years, Clark has manufactured a wide range of construction and industrial equipment. The company changed hands again in 2007, with Clark Equipment now being a part of Doosan International which is based out of South Korea. The company continued to grow and expand over the following decades, until the brand was sold to Ingersoll Rand in 1995. In 1916, the company became Clark Equipment Company at the hands of Eugene Clark. Rich Manufacturing Company in 1903 in Chicago by Illinois Steel Company executives. ![]() Clark Equipment has been one of the most trusted names in the heavy equipment industry for more than a century.
